Today was our commencement. We have traveled three long years to this point and we have succeeded. There were many congratulations and feelings of relief, sadness, joy, excitement and hope. Through Haas, the five of us bonded with one common new goal, to overcome the monstrous Mount Kilimanjaro. We will each go our separate ways for the time being: spend time with family and friends whom we neglected, finish up new job opportunities, search for new career paths, train with more hikes and start our summer travels. Whatever it may be, the five of us will meet in Tanzania and embark on an extension of our Haas journey.
